Position Summary:

CNC Operators are highly skilled professionals able to work with great concentration and precision.  They must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines, have a keen eye for detail and exhibit a high level of mechanical aptitude.  The goal is to produce high quality parts and materials by programming machines to perform the right operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily operation of CNC machines
  • Perform quality inspections using proper calibrated measuring devices and complete quality records
  • Troubleshoot machines for issues
  • Anticipate needed stock and communicate needs through appropriate channels
  • Reading and interpreting drawings, including blueprints, to meet product specifications

Work experience & Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with and working knowledge of CNC machines
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or other related fields, including:
    • Reading a tape measure and performing basic fraction and decimal changes
    • Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
    • Operating equipment properly
  • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications​
